Ranelle as our Doula: Priceless!
Having Ranelle as our doula, was a priceless experience! Throughout our 33 hours of labor, Ranelle was there every minute. She stood by us with massages, breathing techniques; birthing postures; prayer and moral support just to name a few. Her gentle spirit and vast knowledge put us at ease. We will forever be grateful to of had Ranelle present at the birth of our daughter Luxe and will be sure to have her present for the next.
- Dallas & Lisa

My experience with Ranelle was so above my expectations when I had my son after 23 1/2 hours of natural labor, where Ranelle never left my side. That I knew when I got pregnant with my daughter just who to call. I always describe Ranelle as being my Angel Voice through labor. No matter what was going on in the room if Ranelle was talking to me nothing or no one mattered. - Stacey

Having a doula at our births was an easy decision for us. To have someone who was focused only on our birth made our two birth experiences very special. Ranelle was with us both times - at our hospital (emergency cesarean) and our home birth (HVBAC.) Her experience, her gentle and non-obtrusive manner really helped guide us through our unexpected emotional and physical twists and turns during our births. - Adam & Jodi

Having Ranelle as our doula was the best thing we could have done for our baby's birth. Her support, reassurance and calming presence made labor and delivery a much easier process for both me and my husband. We highly recommend her! - Michelle

Ranelle was our doula for both of our daughters deliveries, her presence and guidance during the labor and delivery helped us achieve not only natural child birth 2 times, but a very memorable birthing experience from beginning to end!! She was wonderful!! We could not have done it without her!! - Dr. Erik and Susan

"From the Man's viewpoint"
Having Ranelle at out birth was priceless. Her knowledge about the entire process was invaluable to me as a first time dad. She had briefed us on some problems that might arise and gave advice on how to handle the possible situations. That advice came into play and I was able to knowledgeably speak about the situation and come to a solution that was best for all involved. Having Ranelle there freed me from the feeling of total responsibility to my wife, as I knew she was in good hands if I left the room.

If having a doula is within your means don't go through the process without one. I don't think I could have enjoyed the birth of my son nearly as much if I had to do it without Ranelle. - Gene (& Lisa)

Ranelle has been to many births with me, and it is always such a joy to have her assisting me. She brings such a peaceful, caring, loving presence to births, as well as a wealth of knowledge. Ranelle truly has a special way about her that is always welcomed. - Christie Boyer, Registered Midwife

I am a Labor & Delivery nurse and worked with and trusted my midwife and nurses. Even so, I am very aware of changing shifts and the demands of other patients. We wanted a constant reassuring support during labor. Someone who is calm and quiet. It was the best decision my husband and I ever made to have Ranelle with us! Ranelle offered great suggestions and kept me calm and focused. We had a beautiful unmedicated hospital delivery. We also treasure the birth pictures she took. Having a doula was our number one best choice for attaining the natural delivery we wanted - Rebecca

Ranelle knows how to take care of the whole person, the whole family, really. She guided us through the big medical and physical parts of having a baby, but she also had an attention to detail that really put us at ease and let us focus on welcoming our new little boy. - Ann

From a business perspective Ranelle is detail oriented, well-organized, and flexible. On a personal level she is encouraging and empathetic. These are all very important traits when interacting with a mom-to-be (and yet they are often missing in current traditional health care). While I was pregnant she calmed my sciatica with wonderful, relaxing massage so I could sleep at night. When my son was breach she encouraged me and lent helpful suggestions to encourage my baby to move his head down (and he did!) In the delivery room she seemed to just know exactly what I needed, yet didn’t encroach on my husband’s involvement. I went from 3 cm to 10 cm in about 10 minutes, but the nurses wouldn’t re-check me because they couldn’t believe it. Ranelle convinced them to do so and Peter was born about 5 minutes later! No complications and no drugs! Thank you Ranelle! - Allyson

It was such a help having a doula with my scheduled cesarean. My mother was not comfortable with everything that the doctors had to do so Ranelle became my crutch for the birth. I was still worried about the cesarean, but it was a relief to have Ranelle with me as an outstanding doula. She kept me informed on what was happening and stayed with me through it all. I will always have a doula with all of my future births. - Anita
